9-11 invokes deep pockets in coin buyers

Re: 9-11 invokes deep pockets in coin buyers
I think this IS a scam. Personally, although I have no proof, I believe the gold and silver used to mint these coins DID NOT come from the WTC. It is just a nice marketing gimmick. What proof has been offered that the gold and silver came from the WTC; no certificate or mint official stating so.
I love numismatic coins, but I would not pay more than a small premium over spot for these gold and silver coins. You know, many people will be entranced by this, so let them bid away and be happy. THe Great Ag |

More to the point - I have read (and I wish now I could remember where, but frankly, it was months ago and once I read it I lost any interest in these coins) that the metals were absolutely NOT from WTC.I think (but again, can not remember) it was on article on PCGS or from the Greysheet.......but it was one of the more highly considered coin collecting groups warning against this scam......... |
